Christmas Markets in Tokyo 2026
Tokyo's biggest Christmas market, the Tokyo Christmas Market, moves to Shin-Toyosu in 2026 (20 Nov to 25 Dec) and also runs at Shiba Park from 4 Dec, with the Tokyo Tower in view. One of Japan's largest Christmas markets. Look for the 14 m Christmas pyramid; in 2026 it is held in Shin-Toyosu for the first time.

Marunouchi Street Park Winter Christmas Market
The streets in front of Tokyo Station turn into a Christmas market with illuminations, an easy stop after work.

What visitors say
Visitors praise walking through the elegant gold illuminations. On the other hand, there are few places to sit, stall prices are high, the cobblestones are tiring in heels and weekend evenings are crowded.
Perfect for an after-work stroll. The market is small, so the illuminations are the main attraction.
