Letter writer

A letter back,
from the right figure.

Most letter generators hand you a blank page for the child to fill in. This one writes the reply — in 84 versions, one for each gift-bringer in each of the 55 countries, signed off on the night that figure actually comes.

Nothing you type here is sent anywhere. The letter is assembled in your own browser and disappears when you close the tab.

About Papá Noel

What to do with it

Print it on something that is not printer paper. The single detail children remember is the physical object — thicker paper, a slightly odd size, a fold that is not the fold a school letter has. An envelope left somewhere strange beats a perfect letter left on the table.

Keep the good deed specific. “You were kind” reads like a form. “I noticed when you looked after your brother on the day the power went out” reads like someone was watching, which is the entire point.

And do not promise the present. Every version here deliberately stops short of it — a letter that guarantees the bicycle is a letter that can be held against you on the morning.

Questions about letters from Santa

How to get a letter from Santa for free?

Pick Santa (or your country's gift-bringer) in the writer above, add your child's name and one good thing they did, then print the letter. It is free, needs no sign-up and nothing is sent anywhere. For a letter in Santa's handwriting, use the printable letter from Santa page.

What should I write in a letter from Santa?

Use the child's name, one specific good deed, a gentle goal for next year and a warm sign-off — and don't promise a particular present. The writer above builds that structure for you in the right voice for each gift-bringer.

How can my child receive a letter from Santa?

Print it and leave it where Santa might: by the tree, in a stocking, or beside the cookie plate. In the US you can also mail it through the USPS North Pole postmark programme for a real postmark.

Is there a santa letter template for other countries?

Yes. The same writer covers gift-bringers from many countries, such as Sinterklaas on 5 December, Ježíšek on the 24th and the Three Kings on 6 January, each signed on the date that figure actually visits.
