Nuremberg Christmas Markets 2026
The Nürnberger Christkindlesmarkt on the Hauptmarkt is world-famous and runs from 27 November to 24 December 2026 with free entry. Next to it are the Sister Cities Market on Rathausplatz, the Children's Christmas on Hans-Sachs-Platz (27 November - 30 December 2026) and the alternative Gostenhof neighborhood market. Come on a weekday: weekends and the opening are very crowded.

For most a must-see experience: atmospheric, international, with gingerbread, mulled wine and bratwurst. At weekends and at the opening it is very full and cramped. Some regulars find the offer one-sided and overpriced.
