Christmas Markets in Croatia 2026: Zagreb Advent Dates and Guide
Croatia's Christmas markets covered here are the Advent in Zagreb. It runs across the city centre from 29 November 2025 to 7 January 2026 (next edition 28 November 2026 to 7 January 2027) with free entry everywhere: Zrinjevac park with its music pavilion, an ice park with a 1,500 m2 rink on Tomislav Square, the big tree on Ban Jelacic Square, Fuliranje food huts on Strossmayer Square and Caffe de Matos in the Upper Town.

Visitors describe it as one of the bigger Advent spots in the city: a nicely decorated square with a mighty tree and plenty of food and drink stalls. It is the most crowded - the starting point of almost every Advent walk.
A must as the first stop - see the tree and the candles, and eat and drink at Zrinjevac or Strossmayer Square.
