What it is
Niagara Falls' Winter Festival of Lights is billed as Canada's largest free outdoor festival. Its 44th season runs from November 14, 2026 to January 10, 2027, with three million lights and more than 25 new displays and interactive exhibits along a route of more than 8 km.
Where the lights are
The displays line the Niagara Parkway, the Fallsview District and Lundy's Lane. A good plan is to drive Lundy's Lane and through Dufferin Islands, then park at Table Rock or Clifton Hill and walk the rest. On Friday and Saturday evenings (6–9 pm) the Misty Lodge opens in Queen Victoria Park.
Hours and fireworks
The lights are on every night from 5 pm to midnight, holidays included. From November to December there are fireworks over the Falls on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm.
Parking and getting around
Entry is free; voluntary donations are collected at Dufferin Islands. Hotel parking is the easiest option; paid lots include the Falls Parking Lot across from Table Rock Centre, the Skylon Tower and Clifton Hill. The WeGo bus links the tourist districts.
